Do I need to pay any money to register for the Hackathon?
No. You do not have to pay anything to anyone to register yourself.

Do I need to have any specific qualifications to be a participant for the Hackathon?
Mentees need to be college graduates. Any level of marketing professional is welcome to participate.

How do I submit what I have made for the Hackathon?
Submissions are presentations, which will be sent to hackathon@amasf.org.

Do I have to stay for the entire hackathon?
Yes.

How will the teams be organized?
You’ll be randomly assigned to a team with a random mentor on the day of the event by the organizers. There will be 4-5 members in each team.

Do I have to join a team or can I participate as an individual?
You can register as an individual but you will be placed in a team.

Do I get a certificate for this?
Yes, a digital certificate of participation will be shared through email after the event.

Will food and beverages be provided throughout the event?
Yes, there will be refreshments provided throughout the event.

What do I need to bring to participate in this event?
You need to bring your own laptop, and you will need to have some sort of presentation app (e.g. PowerPoint or Slides).

Do we need to give a demo for the market campaign that I have built?
Yes, your team will give a presentation at the end of the hackathon.

If it is a team submission, does that mean all team members will have access to work at the same time?
Yes.

Who will own the IP (Intellectual Property) Rights to the product that I have built?
Your work will belong to the non-profits.

Can I work on the project or have access to the data after the event?
No, the project and access to non-profit information will conclude at the end of the event.
