Event Overview

Event Name: AMA SF Marketing Hackathon
Date: November 14, 2024, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (or earlier if you like)
Location: Golden Gate University, 536 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94105
Target Audience: Non-profit organizations, marketers, developers, and creative professionals working to drive meaningful outcomes.

Role of a Judge

Purpose: Judges will evaluate the marketing strategies and deliverables created by hackers, assessing the innovation, creativity, feasibility, and potential impact on the nonprofit’s mission.
Judging Criteria: Creativity and innovation in campaign design
Effectiveness of the strategies (email, social media, etc.)
Feasibility and potential real-world impact
Time Commitment: 2-3 hours in the evening, including presentations, deliberation, awards and post-event happy hour.
Judging Format: In person

Impact & Recognition

Impact on the Non-profit: Judges will play a critical role in shaping strategies that can significantly improve outreach and engagement for Edgewood’s mental health clinic expansion.
Networking Opportunities: Opportunity to connect with top marketers, non-profit leaders, creative professionals, and hackers.
Community Contribution: By being a judge, they’ll be directly contributing to a worthy, local nonprofit.
Recognition: Judges will be recognized during the event, across AMA SF’s social media, and in post-event recaps.

Logistics and Compensation

Time Commitment: 2-3 hours
Compensation: Volunteer opportunity, will promote on the website, social and email
